Manaslu Trekking Permit fee

To go trekking in the Manaslu and Tsum Valley area, you must trek with a registered trekking company and a qualified trekking guide in a group of at least two people. Additionally, you'll need to obtain the necessary permits for Manaslu and Tsum Valley, which may include permit fees.

Manaslu Trekking Permit (Trekking permit of Manaslu)
Peak season (Sep, Oct, Nov) – US$ 100.00 per person for the first week and US$ 15.00 per day thereafter.
Other times – US$ 75.00 per person for the first week and US$ 10.00 per day thereafter.

Tsum valley Trekking Permit (Trekking permit of Tsum Valley)
From September to November USD $ 40.00 Per Person for the first week and USD $ 7.00 per day thereafter.
From December to August USD $ 30.00 per person for the first week and USD $ 7.00 per day thereafter.

The permit fees for Manaslu and Tsum Valley go to the Ministry of Immigration. In addition to these permits, you must also have both the MCAP and ACAP permits, which are contributions to the Nepal Trust for Nature Conservation, the organization that manages these areas. If you're only visiting Tsum Valley and not crossing the Larkya La pass, then you won't need the ACAP permit.

Nepal Tourist Visa

Foreign visitors entering Nepal can obtain visas from Nepalese embassies or consulate offices in their countries, or from the immigration office at Tribhuvan International Airport if arriving by air. Tourists arriving by road can obtain visas at immigration offices at the borders with India and China. As of July 16, 2008, the Nepalese government revised the existing tourist visa fee structure.

Foreign visitors entering Nepal can obtain visas from Nepalese embassies or consulate offices in their countries, or from the immigration office at Tribhuvan International Airport if arriving by air. Tourists arriving by road can obtain visas at immigration offices at the borders with India and China. As of July 16, 2008, the Nepalese government revised the existing tourist visa fee structure. The new fee structure is as follows:

• US $30 or equivalent foreign currency for a 15-day tourist visa with multiple entries
• US $50 or equivalent foreign currency for a 30-day tourist visa with multiple entries
• US $125 or equivalent foreign currency for a 100-day tourist visa with multiple entries

 

The Nepalese government has also revised the fees required for extending the duration of stay and renewing visas. Under the revised fee structure, a tourist visa can be extended by paying US $2 or the equivalent amount in Nepalese currency per day. Additionally, a multiple-entry facility can be obtained for the extension period by paying an additional US $20 and the required visa fee for the extended period. Similarly, tourists can renew their visas by paying the Nepalese currency equivalent to US $3 on top of the regular visa extension fee.
